A second life for clothes

Recloth gives clothes a second lease of life. Clothing that would otherwise end up in landfill is brought back as sustainable furniture fabrics. Our recycled fabrics are equal to traditional upholstery

fabrics when it comes to strength, comfort and appearance. By recycling, we save a large part of the impact on the environment. That feels good!

Clothing as raw material for the yarns

Clothing comes back as durable furniture fabric

In the production of clothing, a distinction is made between animal, plant-based and synthetic materials. Every raw material has its own processing method. All of these processes have an environmental impact. By recycling, we reduce this impact. Simply because no new products are being made. Used clothes are collected and processed into yarns with a high percentage of recycled material. Reuse what’s already been made. This results in beautiful, comfortable furniture fabrics.

Global Recycled Standard

Our Recloth fabrics have a high percentage of recycled material. The Global Recycled Standard certification serves as proof that the fabrics actually contain recycled material. That way you can be sure that your purchase is a responsible one. This certification is renewed annually and checked by Control Union.
