This post-consumer woolen upholstery fabric is suitable for all types of upholstery.
The recycled yarns are carded from regenerated woolen products. Carding is a specific way of processing yarns.
Due to an environmental friendly production process, used woolen clothing, fabrics & knits get a second life.
The result is a yarn and eventually a fabric like Facet, with a particular characteristic that distinguishes it from other virgin woolen yarns.
The entire production and finishing process is done by an Italian textile specialist, known for this type of production for more than a century.
During use, a certain hairiness may appear, this has no further influence on the durability of this type of woolen fabrics. Due to the production process, each batch is unique and colour variations may occur.
Due to its composition FACET passes the BS5852 cigarette (part 0) & match (part 1) test and also the EN1021 cigarette (part 1) & match (part 2) test.
Currently we are unable to obtain transaction certificates for this product. Therefore, this product is not GRS certified. We are working on alternative methods to verify the recycled content independently.

Some of our yarns consist of different materials, intertwined to make one yarn. This makes it difficult to recycle them at the end-of-life at this time. Furthermore, our upholstery fabrics are used for the manufacturing of furniture, such as sofa’s and armchairs. These furniture items consist of a number of different components, which often makes it difficult to recycle these products once they have been disposed of. We strive to continuously make our products more sustainable, working together with our suppliers and customers to find solutions to make our materials and end products easier recyclable.
We do not replace the high quality you are used to from us with the sustainability aspect – we add to it! You can be sure to receive the same quality of products and services as you have in the past, no compromises!
